Many companies say that they are innovative, but how many can back up their claims? Hagie Manufacturing made the first innovative introduction into the self-propelled sprayer market when we started the industry in 1947.

Since then we have continued to introduce new designs and technologies to improve their products for our customers. Some of the innovations include enhanced suspensions with the “Terra Hug” and “Hydra-Hug” designs and the patented air-ride suspension and steering system used on the current STS class. Ground-breaking capabilities in drive systems were also introduced; including front wheel assist and hydrostatic drive, which lead to the offering 4 wheel hydrostatic drive and the X-Drive® used on our machines today. Advancements in electronic technology have also been made, from the use of electronic rate controllers to more recent introductions of GPS guidance and auto steering. We were the first company to offer GPS automatic boom section control installed at the factory and auto boom height control with active boom roll control.

Hagie Manufacturing Company’s mission to produce the worlds best self-propelled is ongoing. Their engineering group is continuing to develop the next generation of sprayers, integrating the newest proven technologies available. We have also created our UpFront Solutions group dedicated to offering the newest technology options, integrating and installing them on your Hagie sprayer.
