DTS Sprayers
UpFront Boom
Ever driven down the road and noticed striping across the field? Not likely if your field was sprayed with a Hagie DTS. Sit down inside the cab of a Hagie DTS Sprayer and you'll notice that the boom is right out in front of you - fully-visible from tip-to-tip. No twisting and turning to make sure your nozzles aren't clogged.
Crawl into the cab of most rear-boom sprayers and see how much of the boom you can actually comfortably see. If you can't see your sprayer's boom from tip-to-tip, how do you really know you're sprayer is doing its job - until you see what it missed in your field?

A full tip-to-tip view of the UpFront Boom means you won't see "field striping" due to unseen clogged nozzles. It also means the boom is in front of dirt and debris caused by the machine which can clog nozzles and reduce the effectiveness of some application solutions.
-
UpFront Boom configurations for the DTS are available in 60, 60/80 or 90-foot configurations - so you can match your boom width to you planter set-up.
-
Fence-row nozzles are standard equipment on the DTS. A simple toggle switch in the cab lets you turn fence-row nozzles and foamer drops on or off, left or right.
-
Controlling spray patterns is what our UpFront booms are all about. Impressive 76-inch boom height adjustment, with heights as low as 23-inches and as high as 104-inches, means you can spray in pre-emergence conditions and also get over the top of late season crops.

Transom, individual boom height and foam are all easily controlled from the joystick, helping keep you focused on driving and not looking for switches.
-
The DTS' UpFront Boom is protected against unexpected fence posts. Main booms hinge both backwards and forwards. Boom tips on the 80- and 90-foot configurations also break-away for added protection.
-
It's the little things that separate Hagie sprayers from the pack - like our heads-up boom section light bar which provides you with a quick reminder of what sections are on/off. Standard on the DTS10.
-
The UpFront Booms hydraulically fold into a compact 12-foot transport width for moving down the road when the day is done.
