The new standard in 120 foot booms!
Staying innovative

Hagie Manufacturing Company continues to be an innovator in the industry. Our new boom may look similar to other booms in today’s market, but looks can be deceiving. Utilizing data gathered from the existing 120’ booms and machines working in real field conditions, we have developed the strongest and lightest available boom structure by performing hours of computer simulations to perfect the optimal design before field testing. We have added many advances to our new 120’ boom that the competitors don’t, won’t, or can’t offer.

New for the 120’ Booms
  • Pivoting Boom Mounting
  • Nozzle Spacing
  • Increased Tube Steel
  • Larger Structure
  • Improved Boom Protection
  • Fold Joint Adjustment
  • 9 Spray Sections

Special Features

Adjustable Fence Row Nozzle 90’/120’ Hydraulic Breakaway & Fold Tube/Socket Structure Quick Clean Wet Boom Rolling Transom
Fence row or boom extension, it’s up to you. Whether you just want to get full coverage on your end rows or control weeds in your fence, a quick adjustment and spray tip change is all it takes. No springs, chains, cables, etc. A single cylinder is used to fold and provide the breakaway action on the boom. Laser cut parts with a tube and socket assembly design insures it to be easy to manufacture and provide the strongest joint possible. Flushing a boom hasn’t been easier. Remove the pin, pull the plug, and flush the entire boom with no restrictions. No tools needed in all locations. The center boom pivot allows the booms to act independent to the machine. Its location is key in making the automatic paralleling boom system work.

Paralleling Booms

There is a big difference between Hagie Paralleling booms and self-leveling or auto-leveling booms offered by our competition. The Hagie Paralleling boom electronically monitors the boom and its relationship to both the ground and the machine, adjusting them hydraulically to keep your boom sections parallel to the ground. When your booms are parallel, and the correct distance from the ground, you will have a consistent spray pattern and a more effective application.

An auto-leveling or self-leveling boom is just a big pendulum, allowing gravity to align the boom with springs and shocks to slow its movements. Leveling your booms on un-leveled ground doesn’t keep your nozzles equidistant from the ground, giving you an inconsistent spray pattern and can leave streaks.

Utilizing the 5 sensors of the NORAC auto boom height control, you will be monitoring the roll of the boom compared to the machine. This allows the boom to remain parallel to the ground and automatically adjust for other terrain changes. Our system also allows the booms to stay parallel during quick turns.

Increased Coverage

New for the 120’ Booms
  • Pivoting Boom Mounting - Boom is mounted on a pivoting pin as opposed to the rigid mounting of shorter booms
  • Nozzle Spacing - Spacing available in either 15” or 20” in a choice of high volume or standard volume
  • Increased Tube Steel - New material used on the booms to optimize the strength to weight ratio
  • Larger Structure - Height of the inner section was increased to stabilize the outer boom structure
  • Improved Boom Protection - Mechanical and hydraulic breakaways added to protect the structure
  • Fold Joint Adjustment - Mechanisms were added to the joints to allow for fine adjustments
  • 9 Spray Sections - 120 feet are segmented off into sections increase spraying precision
  • Foam Markers - Drops at either 90' or 120'
  • Two Controllable Spray Widths - 90' and 120' (calculated on 15" spacing)
