STS Frame / Clearance

Maybe you'll never spray a crop more than 4-feet tall. Or plant narrower than 30-inch rows. Maybe a heavy June rain will never require you to reapply nitrogen. The Hagie STS is built for versatility. Its 72-inch high underframe gives you the highest (and cleanest) clearance in the industry. Superior engineering lets you roll through the field on narrow tires that won't trample your crop. And, an available, award-winning NTB nitrogen injection toolbar lets you easily switch from spraying to nitrogen injection - which is handy when late spring rains wash away your fertilizer.

Nothing measures up to the STS when it comes to crop clearance. A full 72-inches of underframe clearance puts you over the top of mature crops other sprayers would scalp or even knock-down. Surprisingly, overall machine height is the same as the competition - so you'll have no problem storing it in the machine shed. Wheel hubs stay within the width of the wheel so they don't pull crop into the wheels. Underframe panels protect tall crops from getting tangled with the machine. The STS's hydraulic ladder, located in the back of the machine is wider than any in the field and leads you to a bank of conveniently-located maintenance gauges before you even step into the cab. A full tilt-engine cover and a fold-down platform gives you easy access to all parts of the engine.
